I'm having this assignment for a customer to sync user from a old Linux machine to a new one. Found this very useful link. I like the way this FAQ is written, step-by-step with detailed commands and descriptions. Hard to find good links like this these days. Most FAQs have little useful info and you have to guess through what you should do most of the times.
